New Groundsure prices from 1st April 2023

Groundsure will be increasing the price of their range of  environmental searches from Saturday 1st April.

For online customers, the new prices will automatically be shown when ordering. For customers ordering by post, any orders received prior to 1st April will be completed at the current price.

New local authority prices from 1st April 2023

A number of local authorities are amending their prices from Saturday 1st April. The table below shows which authorities within the Severn Trent region are affected. Authorities who have confirmed they will not be amending their prices are also indicated. Other authorities will be added as soon as we have confirmation of their pricing.

New Coal Authority prices from 1st April

The Coal Authority will be increasing the price of their range of mining searches from Saturday 1st April.

For online customers, the new prices will automatically be shown when ordering. For customers ordering by post, any orders received prior to 1st April will be completed at the current price.

CON29DW price changes from 1st April 2023

We will be amending the price of our CON29DW Residential and CON29DW Commercial drainage and water searches from Saturday 1st April.

The CON29DW Residential will increase by £3.00 to £54.00 (£64.80 incl. VAT), as will related products.

The CON29DW Commercial will increase by £20.00 to £230.00 (£276.00 incl. VAT).

We are aware that this is an above average increase, particularly in the current economic climate. Unfortunately, rising costs mean that our current prices of £51.00 + VAT/£210 + VAT are no longer sustainable.

Property Report Infographics – Q4 2022

Highlights from the 2022 Q4 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – Nov 2022 data
    Some impressive gains from all Counties this quarter when compared to last year, with East Midlands making an 14.1% gain closely followed by the West Midlands at 13.7%. Greater London has achieved the smallest gain of just 1.5% in Q4.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Oct 2022/21/20 data)
    Nottinghamshire shows the most combined growth of 29.7% with Leicestershire slightly behind at 28.2%.
  • Sales trend Q3 2022 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 30.7% up on last quarter but 26.8% down on the previous year (Q3 2021).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2021
    Lloyds banking group still hold the number one spot with an 18.1% market share, despite dropping 0.8% from last year. Barclays break into the top five with a 10.7% market share.
