We know times are hard at the moment, and every penny counts, especially in something as expensive as buying a house. Homebuyers are looking to save money wherever possible, and this includes looking for the best available deals on conveyancing.

This puts pressure on conveyancing firms to cut prices, and alongside high search and case management fees, this can severely cut into profits. Reminder: New CON29DW prices from 1st April 2023

We will be amending the price of our CON29DW Residential and CON29DW Commercial drainage and water searches from Saturday 1st April.

The CON29DW Residential will increase by £3.00 to £54.00 (£64.80 incl. VAT), as will related products.

The CON29DW Commercial will increase by £20.00 to £230.00 (£276.00 incl. VAT).

We are aware that this is an above average increase, particularly in the current economic climate. Unfortunately, rising costs mean that our current prices of £51.00 + VAT/£210 + VAT are no longer sustainable.

CON29DW price changes from 1st April

We will be amending the price of our CON29DW Residential and CON29DW Commercial drainage and water searches from Friday 1st April.

The CON29DW Residential will increase by £2 to £51.00 (£61.20 incl. VAT), as will related products. The CON29DW Commercial will increase by £15 to £210.00 (£252.00 incl. VAT).

For online customers, the new prices will automatically be shown when ordering. For customers ordering by post, any orders received prior to 1st April will be completed at the previous prices of £49.00 (£58.80 incl. VAT) / £195.00 (£234.00 incl. VAT).

Introducing the Commercial DW

We’re excited to announce the launch of the all-new Commercial DW.

Produced in collaboration with the Law Society, the search combines all the same information our customers are familiar with, alongside a new one-size-fits-all approach.

From Thursday 1st April, the Commercial DW will replace our current three-tier system, which comprises the Commercial Basic, Standard and Extra searches.
