Property Sales Data Maps – September 2019

The property sales data maps report for September 2019 has the following key points:-

  • Greater London has the highest number of total properties sold in the UK with a considerable number of properties being terraced and flats/maisonettes. Unsurprisingly Greater London also has the highest average property price
  • For new build properties, Oxfordshire and Shropshire top the list with 17.13% and 17.11% respectively
  • Essex and Greater Manchester are joint 1st ranked counties for different property types sold. Whereas, Rutland is the lowest ranked county. These counties have continued to perform at opposite ends of the scale for the past 6 months. However, we also need to take into consideration that Rutland is a very small County and as such will sell less properties than most in the UK.

Homecheck Professional – Flood Risk Assessment Report

This month’s highlighted product of the month is the Homecheck Professional report, a flood risk search from Landmark Information Group.

The report is a comprehensive desktop analysis of flood risk, which also takes  flood defenses and the availability of insurance into account.

The property sales data maps report for August 2019 has the following key points:-

  • Greater London has the highest number of total properties sold in the UK with a considerable number of properties being terraced and flats/maisonettes. Unsurprisingly Greater London also has the highest average property price
  • For new build properties, Oxfordshire and Northumberland top the list with 12.36% and 11.31% respectively
  • Greater Manchester are the highest ranked county for different property types sold. Whereas, Rutland is the lowest ranked county. Both these counties have continued to perform at opposite ends of the scale for the past 6 months. However, we also need to take into consideration that Rutland is a very small County and as such will sell less properties than most in the UK.

Delays to Mansfield District Council Local Land Charges

We have been informed of delays to land charge searches from Mansfield District Council.

Due to essential system maintenance, Mansfield District Council will be unable to process any searches between Monday 11th November – Wednesday 20th November 2019.

In addition to the delays stated above, we also ask that customers take turnaround times into account when ordering. These are currently 19 working days.
