Property Report Infographics – November 2021

Highlights from the November 2021 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – October 2021 data
    Wales leads the way with an impressive 10.8% gain when compared to last year. All other Counties have also shown an increase with the lowest being London at 1.9%.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Sep 2021/20/19 data)
    Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 18.1% edging Nottinghamshire at 17%.
  • Sales trend Q3 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 17.3% up on last quarter but 69.5% down on the previous year (Q3 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

OneSearch Direct price change

OneSearch Direct have informed us that the price of their local authority searches will be increasing from Monday 6th December.

The residential search will now be £68.00 (£81.60 incl. VAT).

Commercial searches will now cost £81.75 (£98.10 incl. VAT).

Property Passports round table

The Ordnance Survey (OS) are due to host the Conveyancing Information Executive’s (CIE) first industry round table. This will focus on Property Passports: the role of Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRNs) in improving the property transaction process.

The Coal Authority have announced new prices for their range of mining searches from Monday 1st November. This includes the CON29M Coal Mining Search. The new prices will be automatically updated on our ordering site from that date.

Property Report Infographics – October 2021

Highlights from the October 2021 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – September 2021 data
    Wales leads the way with an 11.2% gain when compared to last year. All other Counties bar one have also shown an increase. Greater London has negative growth at minus 0.4%.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Aug 2021/20/19 data)
    Stafford shows the most combined growth of 18.5% edging Shropshire and Nottinghamshire at 18.4% respectively.
  • Sales trend Q2 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 81.1% down on last quarter and 49.2% down on the previous year (Q2 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers
