Update from Mansfield District Council

Mansfield District Council have provided us with the following update regarding their CON29 and LLC1 searches:

“It has been decided to now close Mansfield District Council offices completely.

I have had discussions this morning with my team and senior officers and we have decided to continue search requests via homeworking and email however, as we cannot check any paper information that is still contained inside the building the search responses will also include the following statement:

We’ve recently added a great new feature to our website.

When placing an order or obtaining a quote via our ordering platform, you now have the option of plotting the property to be searched on a map. This allows you to ensure search requests match our records, which can speed up response times, avoids unnecessary contacts, and reduces the chances of search results being returned against the incorrect property.

Property Report Infographics – March 2020

Highlights from the March 2020 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – December 2019 data
    Yorkshire and the Humber has a 3.5% gain when compared to last year, whereas the East of England shows a 1.1% loss
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (December 2019/18/17 data)
    Leicestershire shows the most combined growth – 7% (2017), 6.4% (2018) & 3.65% (2019). Rutland follows closely behind, however is the only ST County to show three consecutive years of higher growth with 1.8% (2017), 4.3% (2018) and 10.3% (2019).
  • Mortgage trends buyer comparisons – December 2019 data
    Homeowner remortgages with equity withdrawn made a 5.9% gain on last year
  • Sales trend Q4 2019 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 5.5% down on last month and 17% down on Q4 2018
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2018
    58% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers
