Local Authority Price Changes – April 2020

A number of local authorities are changing the price of their CON29 and LLC1 searches from 1st April 2020. The table below shows the revised prices for authorities within the Severn Trent region, where known. This table will be updated regularly as more authorities announce their new prices. We will also note in the table those authorities confirming their prices are remaining the same as present. Where a new price has yet to be announced, the current price is shown.

New Coal Authority prices from 1st April 2020

Due to the current Coronavirus crisis, the Coal Authority have postponed their planned price increase for a period of six months. These are now scheduled for October 2020. Further information can be found here

The Coal Authority have announced new prices for their range of residential and commercial mining reports from Wednesday 1st April 2020. These new prices are shown in the tables below:

Delays to Highways extent searches – Staffordshire County Council

We have been informed of delays to Highways Extent searches from Staffordshire County Council.

Due to resource levels, Staffordshire County Council have taken the decision to stop accepting searches for Highways Extent searches from Friday 14th February. This will be in place for the next 6-8 weeks. Orders received after this date are not able to be processed by the Council. All other searches will be processed as normal.

Delays to Mansfield District Council Local Land Charges

We have been informed of delays to land charge searches from Mansfield District Council.

Due to essential system maintenance, Mansfield District Council will be unable to process any searches between Monday 11th November – Wednesday 20th November 2019.

In addition to the delays stated above, we also ask that customers take turnaround times into account when ordering. These are currently 19 working days.

Due to the delays stated above. Turnaround times have now increased to 23 working days.

Delays to Wolverhampton Local Land Charges

We have been informed of delays to land charge searches from Wolverhampton Council.

Due to staffing levels, Wolverhampton Council will be unable to process any searches between Wednesday 25th September – Wednesday 2nd October 2019.

In addition to the delays stated above, we also ask that customers take turnaround times into account when ordering. These are currently 10-15 working days.
