The property sales data maps report for October 2018 has the following key points:-
- Greater London has the highest number of total properties sold in the UK with a considerable number of properties being terraced and flats/maisonettes. Unsurprisingly Greater London also has the highest average property price
- For new build properties, Northumberland in England and Bridgend in Wales lead the way in the highest percentage of new build properties sold. Closely followed by Norfolk, Shropshire and Greater London
- Most detached properties sold in coastal counties with Essex, Lincolnshire and Hampshire holding the top spots
