Changes to Future Climate Info (FCI) reports from 3rd March

Future Climate Info have announced changes to their suite of reports from Thursday 3rd March. There are new prices for their searches, as well as new size bandings across their range of residential and commercial reports.

Based on customer feedback, FCI have announced an increase to the initial size-banding for some of their best-selling residential environmental search reports; the FCI Essential, Standard, Premium, Flood Residential and Ground Stability Residential.

Property Report Infographics – Jan 2022

Highlights from the January 2022 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – December 2021 data
    Wales continues to lead the way with an impressive 9.4% gain when compared to last year. London shows a recent resurgence with a 7.6% gain.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Oct 2021/20/19 data)
    Once again, Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 18.6% edging Nottinghamshire at 18.4%.
  • Sales trend Q3 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 17.3% up on last quarter but 69.5% down on the previous year (Q3 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Price increases

A number of search prices are increasing throughout January and February. These include the majority of official local authority searches, ChancelCheck, and most Landmark, Groundsure and Argyll environmental searches.

The majority of these prices are effective immediately. Landmark and Argyll searches will be increasing from Tuesday 8th February.

For those authorities within the Severn Trent region with an admin waiver, they will continue to receive this. For other official local authority searches the administration fee will be increasing from £5.00 (£6.00 incl. VAT) to £7.00 (£8.40 incl. VAT). Gloucester City Council currently unable to return LLC1 & CON29 searches

Gloucester City Council have been impacted by a cyber-attack. Local Land Charges are currently unable to process or return any LLC1 & CON29 searches. Any new searches submitted will be held in a queue until their system is restored. Unfortunately, searches already in the system cannot be given an estimated date of return at this time.  Please be assured we will update customers as soon as we are able.
