Property Sales Data Maps – July 2019

The property sales data maps report for July 2019 has the following key points:-

  • Greater London has the highest number of total properties sold in the UK with a considerable number of properties being terraced and flats/maisonettes. Unsurprisingly Greater London also has the highest average property price
  • For new build properties, Northumberland and Oxfordshire top the list with 17.02% and 12.57% respectively
  • Essex are the highest ranked county for different property types sold. Whereas, Rutland is the lowest ranked county. Both these counties have continued to perform at opposite ends of the scale for the past 6 months. However, we also need to take into consideration that Rutland is a very small County and as such will sell less properties than most in the UK.

Delays to Wolverhampton Local Land Charges

We have been informed of delays to land charge searches from Wolverhampton Council.

Due to staffing levels, Wolverhampton Council will be unable to process any searches between Wednesday 25th September – Wednesday 2nd October 2019.

In addition to the delays stated above, we also ask that customers take turnaround times into account when ordering. These are currently 10-15 working days.

This month’s highlighted product of the month is the Envirosearch Residential search, an environmental risk report from Landmark.

The report assesses a multitude of environmental risks to a property along with a consultant’s professional opinion.

The property sales data maps report for June 2019 has the following key points:-

  • Greater London has the highest number of total properties sold in the UK with a considerable number of properties being terraced and flats/maisonettes. Unsurprisingly Greater London also has the highest average property price
  • For new build properties, Northumberland and Oxfordshire top the list with 25.25% and 24.34% respectively
  • West Yorkshire is the highest ranked county for different property types sold. Whereas, Rutland is the lowest ranked county. Both these counties have continued to perform at opposite ends of the scale for the past 6 months. However, we also need to take into consideration that Rutland is a very small County and as such will sell less properties than most in the UK.

Cheshire Salt Search – Subsidence risk search

This month’s highlighted product of the month is the Cheshire salt search, a subsidence & salt mining risk report from Groundsure.
