Our first issue, back in November 2002, talked about a newly launched search called the CON29DW. Ever since Severn Trent Searches launched in 2000, we’d provided drainage searches. However the new, expanded CON29DW was developed in conjunction with the Law Society, and saw the format standardised across water companies. Besides the CON29DW, the debut issue, which ran for just two pages, introduced some other searches we’d just started to provide – coal mining, flood and Envirosearches.
