The Energy And Infrastructure Report* provides information about a number of projects throughout the UK, including the proposed HS2 rail network and Hydraulic Fracturing, commonly known as Fracking.
The HS2 rail network is one of the largest proposed infrastructure projects England has seen in recent years. The first phase, which could be operational by 2026, will connect London to Birmingham. The second stage, due by 2032, will extend the route north, connecting Birmingham to both Manchester and Leeds.
The report contains detailed information on a number of energy projects, including hydraulic fracturing, wind and solar farms as well as other renewable power plants. In addition, a number of other infrastructure projects are included, including Crossrail and the CCS Cross Country Pipeline.
THE ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE REPORT INCLUDES:
- Includes a clear, comprehensive front page summary
- Clear explanations of any technical content
- Offers next steps and recommendations for identified risks
- Details the distance to the proposed HS2 route, along with the location of stations and storage/maintenance depots
- States the level at which the line passes near the property – eg a tunnel, in a cutting, at ground level or on a viaduct, along with the proposed speed of trains
- Shows areas of land licenced for onshore energy exploration and productions, with details of associated licences
- Location and distance to nearest wind farms and wind turbines, wind farms under construction and those proposed for construction
- Mapping and details of existing and planned solar farms
- Mapping and details of existing and planned renewable power plants
