Highlights from the 2022 Q3 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – Aug 2022 data
    Some impressive gains from all Counties this quarter when compared to last year, with South West making an 18.6% gain closely followed by the West Midlands at 18.1%. Greater London has achieved the smallest gain of just 3.2% in Q3.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Aug 2022/21/20 data)
    Shropshire shows the most combined growth of 30.5% with Nottinghamshire slightly behind at 29.9%.
  • Sales trend Q2 2022 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 5% up on last quarter but 55.5% down on the previous year (Q2 2021).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2021
    Lloyds banking group still hold the number one spot with an 18.1% market share, despite dropping 0.8% from last year. Barclays break into the top five with a 10.7% market share.

Property Report Infographics – Q2 2022

Highlights from the 2022 Q2 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – May 2022 data
    Wales continues to lead the way with an impressive 12.4% gain when compared to last year. As per last month the north has achieved the smallest gains with North East (2.4%), Yorkshire and the Humber (4.8%) and the North West (5.2%) respectively.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Feb 2022/21/20 data)
    Once again, Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 25.9% with Shropshire and Nottinghamshire slightly behind at 25.6% and 25.1% respectively.
  • Sales trend Q1 2022 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 66.6% up on last quarter but 53.8% down on the previous year (Q1 2021).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

  • House prices annual change percentage – February 2022 data
    Wales continues to lead the way with an impressive 8.9% gain when compared to last year. Yorkshire and the Humber have made the smallest gain of 1.2%.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Feb 2022/21/20 data)
    Once again, Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 25.8% with Shropshire and Nottinghamshire slightly behind at 23.2% and 22,4% respectively.
  • Sales trend Q4 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 57.9% down on last quarter and 69.3% down on the previous year (Q4 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

Highlights from the January 2022 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – December 2021 data
    Wales continues to lead the way with an impressive 9.4% gain when compared to last year. London shows a recent resurgence with a 7.6% gain.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (Oct 2021/20/19 data)
    Once again, Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 18.6% edging Nottinghamshire at 18.4%.
  • Sales trend Q3 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 17.3% up on last quarter but 69.5% down on the previous year (Q3 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

Gloucester City Council currently unable to return LLC1 & CON29 searches

Gloucester City Council have been impacted by a cyber-attack. Local Land Charges are currently unable to process or return any LLC1 & CON29 searches. Any new searches submitted will be held in a queue until their system is restored. Unfortunately, searches already in the system cannot be given an estimated date of return at this time.  Please be assured we will update customers as soon as we are able.
