  • House prices annual change percentage – June 2021 data
    North West leads the way with an impressive 17.3% gain when compared to last year. All other Counties have also shown an increase with the lowest being London at 1.2%.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (May 2021/20/19 data)
    Rutland shows the most combined growth of 28% with Cheshire East some way behind at 20.9%.
  • Sales trend Q2 2021 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 81.1% down on last quarter and 49.2% down on the previous year (Q2 2020).
  • Mortgage lenders – market share 2020
    64.3% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

Property Report Infographics – January 2021

Highlights from the January 2021 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – December 2020 data
    South West leads the way with an impressive 10.9% gain when compared to last year. All other Counties have shown an increase for the second month running.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (November 2020/19/18 data)
    Leicestershire shows the most combined growth of 14.9%. Closely followed by Derbyshire and Rutland of 14.1%.
  • Sales trend Q4 2020 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 20.1% up on last quarter but a staggering 65.9% down on Q4 2019. This shows that the housing market is slowly starting to recover from the first pandemic lockdown.

    59.6% of all mortgage lending in the UK goes through the top five providers

    Once again, Greater London continues it’s recent surge with a 7.3% gain when compared to last year. All Counties have shown an increase for the second month running.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (October 2020/19/18 data)
    Rutland shows the most combined growth – 9.9% (2018), 0.8% (2019) & 6.7% (2020).
  • Sales trend Q3 2020 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 0.1% up on last quarter but a staggering 70.9% down on Q3 2019. This huge downturn in sales was most likely down to the Coronavirus pandemic and its global effect on the nation.

    Rutland shows the most combined growth – 6.6% (2018), -1.4% (2019) & 14.6% (2020).
  • Sales trend Q3 2020 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 0.1% up on last quarter but a staggering 70.9% down on Q3 2019. This huge downturn in sales was most likely down to the Coronavirus pandemic and its global effect on the nation.

Highlights from the October 2020 property report:-

  • House prices annual change percentage – August 2020 data
    Wales has shown a 2.9% gain when compared to last year, whereas the North East had a 1.2% loss.
  • House prices annual change percentage – two year comparison (August 2020/19/18 data)
    Nottinghamshire shows the most combined growth – 5.3% (2018), 1.9% (2019) & 6.9% (2020). Leicestershire follows closely behind with 5.6% (2018), 3% (2019) and 5.3% (2020).
  • Sales trend Q2 2020 sales comparison by County
    Counties were on average 29.3% down on last quarter and 67% down on Q2 2020. This huge downturn in sales was most likely down to the Coronavirus pandemic and its global effect on the nation.
