ChancelSure insurance products have been designed to work with ChancelCheck searches and fully comply with the Law Society and lender requirements.
Where a property has been identified as being within a parish or a district that retains the right to charge for repairs to the church chancel, ChancelSure insurance offers a cost-effective solution to protect the owner, occupier, mortgagee, lessees, and successors from such charges.
Insurance products are available for both residential and commercial properties.
Policies start from £40.00 for residential properties and £130.00 for commercial properties. All policies include a 10% Insurance Premium Tax (IPT).
Where no chancel search has been obtained, this insurance policy provides coverage against any claims for chancel repair. The cover is up to £3 million, with or without successor cover. It is available for properties up to ten acres.
