The Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) is a required element of the Home Information Pack (HIP). The questionnaire is designed to be easy for sellers to complete without professional help and will provide buyers with basic, useful information about a property that will help to inform their decision to view a property or make an offer.
The PIQ is split into 6 sections: general property information (including council tax banding and parking arrangements), issues affecting the property such as flooding, storm or fire damage, utilities and services information, changes to a property (building and structural), rights of access and leasehold information.
