We have recently introduced a new set of Commercial Drainage and Water searches which will now offer the option of choosing between one of three different searches suited to meet individual commercial property requirements.

The new searches will still contain over 23 questions about connection status, location of public pipes, adoption agreements, water quality and pressure but will now only have the relevant data needed for that particular property.

Commercial Basic

The Commercial Basic package is ideal for small businesses requiring a basic search. With liability cover up to £500,000, the report contains key information for the following types of property or site:

• Single small business (with no residential element)
• Plot of land up to 100m²
• Excludes garages and launderettes
• Purchase of residential property for commercial development

£75.00 per report (excluding VAT).

Commercial Standard

The report contains 24 questions about services to the property including trade effluent and additional billing details. With liability cover up to £2 million and an additional set of meter details available for £25.00 + VAT. This is ideal for the following site or property:

• Mixed use small commercial premises
• Small/medium size commercial unit
• Plot of land up to 1 hectare with a single building

£90.00 per report (excluding VAT).

Commercial Extra

Contains the same information as the Commercial Standard report but includes three sets of water meter billing details with more available for £25 + VAT each. Liability cover up to £5million and A3 or A1* plans available as hard copies, this is ideal for the following types of site or property:

• Large industrial sites
• All plots of land over 1 hectare
• Plots of land with multiple buildings
• Multiple units on one area of land

£215.00 per report (excluding VAT).
