New Product Launch - Electricity Distribution Network Search

The Commercial Electricity Distribution Network Search is provided by Central Networks, the electricity distribution business of E.ON UK. The report provides plans of the property and immediate area, indicating the position and voltage of any overhead lines, underground cables, electricity substations and LV distribution boxes.

While the electricity network is designed so that members of the public wouldn’t normally come into contact with dangerous parts or cables, some activities can put individuals at risk. Every year people are killed or injured by coming into contact with live electricity lines, cables and equipment. Central Networks’ data shows that incidents of cable damage are increasing, causing loss of power, repair costs and, in some cases, prosecution.

Acquiring an official plan of the electricity network provides vital peace of mind for businesses and is an important first step if your client’s looking to carry out construction or agricultural works on the site.
