CPD Seminars in conjunction with Local Law Societies

Severn Trent Searches, in conjunction with the local Law Societies across our region, have been running a series of Free CPD seminars.

The Water Industry (Schemes for adoption of Private Sewers) Regulations 2011 come into force on 1 July 2011 and the transfer will take place on 1 October 2011. These regulations cover the transfer of private sewers and lateral drains from private to public ownership.

This series of seminars have been specifically designed to inform legal professionals about the upcoming transfer of private sewers and lateral drains and how this will affect the CON29DW drainage and water enquiry.

The seminars are being conducted across the Severn Trent Region from May – July 2011.

The first event was held in Birmingham on 25 May and the second in Nottingham on 2 June. Both were well received by delegates, with the feedback being extremely positive.
