On Wednesday 7th October, a 2 hour Residential Conference was held in Hereford. Delegates around the Hereford region attended the conference to hear presentations on the following topics:

From Severn Trent Searches, Mark Jarvis presenting on the CON29DW Drainage and Water Enquiry. Giving details about the connection status, location of pipes public pipes and responsibility for water and drainage pipes for residential properties.

Also from Severn Trent Searches Owen Davies discussed industry views on the future of HIPs, looking into the current situation and how HIPs could be improved going forward.

Finally, Teresa Farmer of Herefordshire Council presented on how Local Land Charges operate and discussed the LLC1 and CON29 searches.
