Commercial High Speed Rail 2 Search
The National High Speed Rail Strategy, which started with High Speed 1 (between London and the Channel Tunnel), is continuing with the proposed High Speed 2 network between London and Scotland. The first phase of Highspeed 2 is an initial London to West Midlands line, which could be operational by 2026. A second phase to Manchester and Leeds may open around 2032 - 33.

The High Speed Rail 2 Search* is a Sitesolutions report supplied by Argyll Environmental - part of the Landmark Group. This search identifies the proximity and level at which the proposed route passes by a property, enabling clients to assess how they may be affected by environmental or noise pollution caused by the new High Speed 2 (HS2) Rail Link.

The report is available for both residential and commercial properties.

The report will:

• Highlight the proximity of a property to the proposed new High Speed 2 route from the West Midlands to London and how it will affect the property
• State the level at which the line passes near the property - eg a tunnel, in a cutting, at ground level or on a viaduct
• This search covers an area up to 1000metres from the proposed route (a Local Authority report only searches for a property within 200 metres of the proposed route)
• Be provided at a rapid turnaround with no extra costs - delivery within 1 working day
• Liability cover up to £10 million

The report is currently only available for properties covered by certain local authorities within the Midlands and London regions, which can be found listed in the document attached at the bottom of the page:

£15 plus VAT (£18.00) for both commercial and residential properties.
